CardTracker exists because the best Pokémon deals sell in minutes, and nobody can sit refreshing a marketplace all day. So we mapped and planned the tool that we wished existed first, then spent months building a team and scaling it to make it real.
I collect Pokémon, and I was trying to complete master sets. Cardmarket is where Europe buys and sells, but the tools felt clunky and slow, and the cards I actually wanted, the fresh listings and the genuinely underpriced ones, were gone before I ever refreshed the page. Getting a card at a fair price meant sitting there scanning Cardmarket, eBay and everywhere else by hand, all day. The people winning the good deals weren't luckier or richer. They were just faster.
So I started researching with no success for a tool to fix one thing: tell me the second a card I wanted was listed, so I could be the one who bought it.
Being first to a listing was only the start. It naturally grew into spotting when a card is underpriced against its real, live market rate, tracking how a card's value moves over time, and turning that history into smarter buying and investment decisions.
What began as a personal script is now months of focused engineering: an always-on engine that reads Cardmarket the way a real buyer's browser does, watches the busy cards constantly, remembers everything it sees, and hands you one clean alert the moment it matters. It went from a script on my desk to a system running in the cloud around the clock, watching thousands of listings so you don't have to.
I've spent nearly six years building intelligent automation and systems, with a background in digital marketing and advertising. CardTracker is what happened when that met a lifelong love of Pokémon: a serious piece of engineering pointed at a problem I genuinely had.
It's fully independent and Ireland-based, run as a small team of 2 full-time people for now, with the help of a few consultant wizards who work in the background when we blow something up in the back-end (that may or may not have happened a few times already) and built to grow with the community that uses it. No investors telling me to squeeze users, no playbook to follow. Just a tool I'm proud of, made for people who love this hobby as much as I do.
The same public listings everyone can see. You just see them first, before they vanish. No insider access, no tricks, just a faster pair of eyes.
Real, live, timestamped data, never estimates or averages. We say plainly what we do and what we don't, and everything we show can be checked.
We never auto-buy and never game the marketplace. You make every decision. That keeps things fair for you, and fair for Cardmarket and its sellers.
CardTracker starts with Pokémon on Cardmarket, but the mission is bigger: give every collector the same shot at a great card as the fastest reseller.
The same real-time edge for other trading card games, so wherever you collect, you're first.
Sealed product and long-term investment tracking, so you can spot what's worth holding, not just what's worth buying today.
More sources over time, so a great deal anywhere reaches you, not just the one site you happened to be watching.
Level the playing field. The best deals shouldn't only go to whoever refreshes fastest. They should go to whoever wants the card most.
Free while we're in beta. Add your first card in under a minute and let CardTracker do the watching.
